The Miami Marlins Suck
Or at least their fans do. Granted the Marlins have two World Series rings to their credit. But really, why do their 10,000 or so fans have to chant “Hanley sucks” at their former star? Hanley Ramirez didn’t leave the team by choice. He was freaking traded you lazy bums! Way to treat a player who was quoted saying: “For me this day is not easy. The Marlins have been my family, the only one I had in baseball,” Ramirez told ESPNdeportesLosAngeles.com’s Enrique Rojas. “I will never forget who gave me that first opportunity that every human being needs. They will always be in my heart.”
On the bright side, Ramirez hit a 20 foot infield RBI single a few moments later. Enjoy the humidity Miami! It’s pretty dang hot in LA right now too. And this is coming from an Angels fan.
